HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED WITH SCIENCE, ASTRONOMY, METAPHYSICS AND HISTORY FOR AS LONG AS HE CAN REMEMBER. BY HIS TEENAGE YEARS, HE WAS BUILDING DETAILED, REALISTIC AIRPLANE AND ROCKET MODELS. AROUND THE AGE OF 15, HE BUILT A LARGE WORKING TELESCOPE. WITHOUT KNOWING IT, HE WAS PREPARING HIMSELF FOR A STORIED FUTURE, CREATING AND DESIGNING THINGS THAT MAY NOT EXIST FOR CENTURIES TO COME.
BEGINNING IN 1951, FARAGASSO’S WORK BEGAN TO FIND IT’S WAY INTO THE COMMERCIAL MARKETS IN THE FORM OF PAINTING ILLUSTRATIONS FOR PAPERBACK BOOK COVERS, MENS ADVENTURE MAGAZINES, COMIC MAGAZINE COVERS AND MORE. IN ADDITION, HE PAINTED LOGOS AND PACKAGING FOR ALL SORTS OF POPULAR PRODUCTS LIKE BOARD GAMES, DOLL PACKAGING, BEAUTY PRODUCTS AND EVEN LIQUOR BOTTLES. FARAGASSO WAS TEACHING AT THE ART STUDENT’S LEAGUE OF NEW YORK IN THE EVENING, SO HE HAD TIME IN THE DAY TO PAINT LLUSTRATIONS. DURING HIS FREE TIME.
